Club Founding

The club was founded under the name «Avangard». This marked the beginning of a great football history for Petropavlovsk and all of Northern Kazakhstan.

Name History

Path of Transformation

Over the years, the club was renamed several times: «Metallist», «Yesil», «Access-Yesil», «Access-GoldenGrain», «Yesil Bogatyr». Each name reflected a new stage in the club's development.

1999–2000

Golden Era

In 1999 and 2000, the club became the vice-champion of the Premier League. These were years of great victories and recognition at the national level.

2000

Kazakhstan Cup Final

In 2000, «Kyzylzhar» reached the final of the Kazakhstan Cup, achieving significant success and demonstrating its high level on the national stage.

2001

Bronze Medals

2001 became another important milestone in the club's history — our team won bronze medals in the championship, cementing its status as one of the strongest clubs in the country.
